Research

After we decided that the idea of doing a thriller suited us best we researched lots of different types of thrillers. What made us choose a thriller was the fact that it was common and gathers a much wider audience than most films. During our research we looked at many films that fitted within the genre of thrillers; these are the type of films that create immediate intense and put an audience on the end of their seat. These can often range from a theme of stalkers to kidnapping to a horror, these are all thriller based. Some of the films we looked at are:

· When a stranger calls
· Jaws

· Red eye
· Panic room

· misery

While watching the opening of these films we were filled with excitement and we wanted to keep on watching, this is exactly how we want our audience to feel when we successfully create our media product.
