For the past week, we have been filming and editing our Preliminary task. Today we finished the editing and pieced the whole piece together. Within our Preliminary task we included: Close ups, medium shots, extreme long shot and shot reverse shot. While editing we made sure that we covered match cut and elements of a jump cut. The finished piece displayed a person (Simon) walking to a room in which he had a conversation with another person (Beatrix) inside the room. Due to the editing we could make sure we could see both persons reactions in the conversation.
Throughtout the making of the Preliminary Task we found we had natural strengths in filiming, yet while editing we found it hard at first to use final cut pro but after some practise we managed to edit the footage smoothly into a short sequence.
